Just checking in real fast from the Interbike Media Center. Today was the first day of the Interbike Expo indoors and it was as overwhelming as ever. J-Vicious finally arrived and there was a collective sigh (or was that a moan?) heard from all the booth babes in Vegas.
Even though we're veterans at this gig it's still took a while to get back into the swing of things. You really have to see this place to believe it...no pictures of the expo hall do it justice. It really does take three days to get around to all the different exhibitors.
It's amazing to see some of the first time exhibitors last year adjust their strategies and add to their product mix the following year. Capitalism is alive and well in the bike industry.
It's hard to focus on one particular thing as there is just so much to see. We've got lots of cool and random stuff to post up just as soon as we get a moment. And I still have two more bike reviews and a celebrity sighting to post from the Outdoor Demo. Shyyyt...we're starting to get backlogged. Right now the Fat Tire is flowing in the media center and my weary dogs are tired...just waiting for the evening to unfold. May check out the Hoss party tonight over at Margaritaville on the Strip.
Meanwhile, a couple of sites have noticed the Interbike content here on GC which is much appreciated. I'm thinking sites are having a hard time finding a single destination to point their readers for the coverage as I have been posting everything as an individual post. I'll do some roundups as well, but in the meantime if you want to spread the word about the coverage here you might want to point people to the following: http://www.goclipless.com/interbike_2006/
Thanks for staying tuned to what I'll humbly call the coolest Interbike coverage on the Web. You better believe it!
