Could TheBicyclePage.com be cycling's version of the Million Dollar Home Page?

Sure is an interesting way to display cycling blogs. If you're looking for Go Clipless in the picture it's right there surrounded by Blue Collar, Cyclelicious, Tinker Juarez, and Jure Robiè...good company I'd say.

It took me a while to find it though...I think it is time to get me a real logo (yellow mtb man must be getting tired hanging in the air for so long). Problem is I suck at graphic design. Anyone with some skills want to help me out? Even if you have some ideas for a logo, I'd love to hear them.

Bicycle remix

Gotta love a good remix or mashup. Check out this video remix I found from Creating Passionate Users. I love how both of the cyclists wheelied through the intersection.

Waterproof digital camera

Alright...just getting back from a bout with the flu this past week so I thought I'd get things started again with a quickie.

I was flipping through a magazine when I stumbled upon this ad. Naturally I was intrigued with the picture of a fallen mountain biker in the mud so I continued reading. The ad is for the Pentax Optio WPi digital camera. Pentax claims that it is the only waterproof point and shoot digital camera...perfect for mountain bikers. I hopped online to do some quick research and found that the camera has just about everything you need to take some good photos while riding.

The camera has 6 megapixels with a 2 inch LCD and a rechargeable lithium ion battery. The form factor is just about right, weighing in at about the size of an average cell phone. Although the video it takes is only 15 frames per second with audio. Not enough to make me rethink my purchase of the Canon SD300.

Still, for around $320 bucks it seems like its worth a look if you're looking to get dirty with some friends and capture the moments for posterity.
